Akshay Vardhan
Principal Lawyer
Akshay is an Ontario-licensed Barrister and Solicitor and a technology enthusiast focused on improving the delivery of legal services in a cost-effective way for Canadians. He has over ten years of professional experience with multinational companies across diverse sectors, including law, finance, and real estate. Akshay earned his law degree from the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi and also holds a Bachelor of Financial and Investment Analysis from the University of Delhi. As an immigrant, he understands both the legal complexities and the personal stress involved in relocating to Canada, and he is well-versed in the federal rules and regulations that shape Canada’s legal system. He combines strong legal training with advanced technological skills to help individuals, professionals, and businesses navigate immigration processes efficiently, with a particular interest in blockchain technology and its legal and commercial implications.
Kirti Dhagavkar
Associate Lawyer
Kirti Dhagavkar is an Ontario Barrister and Solicitor with international legal experience across Dubai (U.A.E.), India, and Canada. With a strong litigation-focused background, she brings a practical, client-centred approach informed by work in multiple jurisdictions. Kirti completed her articling at a personal injury law firm, gaining substantial hands-on experience in litigation and courtroom practice, and has also worked on Landlord and Tenant Board proceedings and Highway Traffic Act matters, appearing independently in hearings and engaging directly in negotiations and court processes. Known for her attention to detail, professionalism, and clear communication, she is fluent in English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, and Urdu, allowing her to serve Ontario’s diverse communities with cultural competence and empathy.


Charles Tsang
Legal Assistant
Since Charles joined Vardhan Law in 2025, he has been supporting the Principal in practices of family litigation, criminal defence, general civil disputes and immigration cases. He takes instructions from clients and prepares pleadings, affidavits and all types of court papers. He also assists lawyers in legal research and administration of the litigation team. Prior to moving to Ontario, Charles acquired rich experience in acting as assistant, law clerk and secretary in the government, non-profit organizations, and law firms in Hong Kong. Charles was a member of the Hong Kong Bar Secretariat between 2016-2024, when he dealt with complaints against lawyers and provided clerical support to the disciplinary inquiries of those complaints conducted by statutory panels.
Charles obtained his degree in political science in Hong Kong. In 2012 he obtained his LLB from the University of London of UK.
